Create Your Own Copper and Bronze Jewelry!
For the next two Sundays, swing by Happy Life Pottery and join artist Linda Bodie for a fun, interactive, in-person class and design your own pure Bronze & Copper Pendant!
In this 2-week in-person workshop you will be using pure bronze & copper precious metal "clay" (PMC) to create and design a beautiful pendant for yourself to give as a special gift! This class is open to beginners, as well as those who have experience.
You will learn:
- How to use templates and textures to create your own design
- How to handle, condition, blend and shape your metal clays into your design
- How to refine and finish your pieces to get a professional look
- How to use beading instead of a chain, if desired
So join us to create your own special, one-of-a-kind, Bronze and Copper earrings and/or pendant!
WORKSHOP DETAILS
- This workshop is on two consecutive Sundays: April 25th & May 2nd
- 2 Week Class, Sundays from 11am to 2pm
- The class will be inside the Happy Life Pottery studio, with limited number of students - MASKS
REQUIRED
- Tuition does NOT include the metal clay for your pieces. The Metal Clays can be purchased at a discounted market price during class (approximately $15/50 grams of copper and $13/30 grams of bronze). Or you may purchase your own at firemountain.com
- Choose to make only earrings or an earrings/pendant set!
- You will be deciding how much bronze and/or copper clay you will be using for your earring designs. You can purchase any or all of the different metal clays to use.
- Open to beginners or those with experience
- Workshop Tuition is $120 (Includes all firings, findings, tools & textures. Does NOT include metal clays)

Is Mom an art lover? Benicia is the premiere hub for local Bay Area artists, and this summer you can participate in the " Ready, Set, Spring !" art auction, running from April 28th through May 22nd.

The event is an important fundraiser for Arts Benicia, and proceeds will help fund education, exhibition, and outreach programs to support Bay Area arts.
